On August 27th, Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "STEC") accompanied the European delegation of world-renowned building materials giant HOLCIM Group (hereinafter referred to as "HOLCIM delegation") to visit the CO2 capture and utilization project of China united cement qingzhou co.,ltd implemented by STEC. Dragan Maksimovic, CEO of Holcim Group in Western Europe, Simon Kronenberg, CEO of Central and Eastern Europe, and Ram Muthu, Global Operations Manager, led a delegation for visit, accompanied by Gao Yanfei, Chairman of STEC, and Jin Suqing, General Manager of STEC.
At the project site, the HOLCIM delegation had a detailed understanding of the project's technical principles, implementation progress, and expected results. As a landmark achievement in the green and low-carbon transformation of the building materials industry, this project has achieved effective collection of CO2 emissions from industrial production processes through advanced CO2 capture technology, providing valuable experience for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting resource recycling.
Subsequently, the three parties held a high-level exchange meeting. Gao Yanfei stated that in the face of global climate change challenges, STEC has always been committed to the research and promotion of green building materials technology. Gao Yanfei hope to explore more new paths for energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon development through cooperation with internationally renowned enterprises such as HOLCIM Group, and contribute to the sustainable development of the global building materials industry
The European delegation of HOLCIM Group highly praised the innovative practice of the Qingzhou CUCC project and stated that HOLCIM Group also regards low-carbon and sustainable development as the core of its corporate strategy, and looks forward to closer cooperation with STEC in the dual carbon field, jointly promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and contributing to the achievement of global carbon neutrality goals
This visit is not only an important inspection of Qingzhou CUCC's innovative practice in CO2 capture technology, but also a continuation of the cooperation between STEC and HOLCIM Group in ORC waste heat recovery, deepening mutual understanding and trust, and laying the foundation for future international cooperation in the "dual carbon" field.
Zeng Yizhou, Executive Vice General Manager of STEC, Jiang Chunxiao, Deputy General Manager, and Ji Lieyong, Chief Engineer of STEC, accompanied the vist.
