At 1:28 on April 13, 2024 (20:28 on April 12, East African time), Tanzania mavini mll cement 15MW biomass power project (Phase II), contracted by STEC, was successfully connected to the grid for power generation
In order to ensure the smooth completion of the project, STEC has dispatched a professional management and technical team to form a project department. Everyone in project team is not afraid of the scorching heat and high temperatures, bravely moving forward, overcoming various difficulties such as local public security, and strictly implementing the safety management and construction quality requirements of the Triumph group and STEC. All members are fully committed to their work, strictly controlling every engineering detail, ensuring the quality and progress of the project. With the cooperation with the installation team, installation and commissioning tasks of the equipment are successfully completed and the project finally completed a successful synchronized for the power generation after 7 months of construction.
The operation of this project will achieve an annual power savings of 9,800 kilowatt hours, an annual savings of about 30,000 tons of standard coal, and an annual reduction of about 76,000 tons of CO2 emissions. STEC will accumulate experience for future biomass power generation projects and further establish STECs leading position in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection engineering in Africa.
