In October 2023, Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC)frequently reported excellent results in the field of scientific and technological work. The company has successfully been recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai for the year 2023, and has successfully initiated the research on key technologies for CO2 capture and electrocatalytic conversion in kiln flue gas of the building materials industry in the 2023 special project for accelerating the development of R&D service industries in Putuo District.
In recent years, STEC has vigorously promoted high-quality development of the enterprise, always guided by technological innovation. In the past three years, the number of invention patents applied for by the company has significantly increased, resulting in 18 invention patents and 27 utility model patents. The proportion of R&D investment to operating revenue has both exceeded 5.5%.
STEC actively promotes industry university research cooperation with research institutes and higher education institutions, which has been transformed into multiple scientific and technological achievements. In September 2022, the world's first glass kiln flue gas CO2 capture project jointly developed by STEC and Dalian University of Technology was implemented and landed at China National Building Materials (Hefei) New Energy Co., Ltd., helping CNBM build an integrated green industry chain of "building materials+" throughout its lifecycle.In June 2023, the cement kiln full oxygen combustion coupled 200,000 tons/year CO2 capture project jointly developed by the STEC and Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute officially started construction at China United Cement Qingzhou Co., Ltd. After completion, it will become the largest carbon capture and purification project in the domestic cement industry and the first cement sector carbon capture and purification project of CNBM Group. It has been included in the first batch of major scientific and technological research projects in the national building materials industry, the first batch of key core technology research projects of CNBM Group, and the list of low-carbon technology research projects of the National Development and Reform Commission.
