At the beginning of February, two strong earthquakes with magnitude of 7.8 occurred in Turkey, which leveled buildings and damaged infrastructure in many places, causing a large number of casualties and property losses in Turkey and Syria.
The 15MW Waste Heat Power Generation Project of Turkey's BASTAS Cement Plant, which was contracted by Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC) overcame the adverse factors such as severe earthquake damage to some ports in Turkey, gathered all forces to coordinate and solve the problems of land and sea transportation and loading and unloading, and accelerated the progress of the project on the premise of full security and quality assurance. The successful operation of waste heat power generation will greatly help cement plants reduce costs and increase efficiency, promote the production of cement, one of the most important materials for post disaster reconstruction, and bring China's speed and temperature to the local area.
STEC will continue to adhere to the "Customer-Centric" principle, do a good job in the follow-up on-site installation guidance and commissioning services, achieve project operation as soon as possible, fully guarantee the project construction in Turkey, help Turkey post earthquake reconstruction with practical actions, and continue to promote the "Going-Global" of Chinese technology and Chinese equipment!
