At 21:59 on September 29, 2022, the 1,200t/d glass production line with 5MW pure low-temperature waste heat recovery (WHR) project of China Building Materials Tongcheng New Energy Materials photovoltaic cell packaging materials for solar equipment (Phase I), contracted by Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC) was successfully synchronized with the grid! This production line is the first set of one-kiln eight-line glass production line in the world and the first glass WHR project contracted by the STEC.
After the completion of the project, it will achieve an annual electricity saving of 23.56 million kWh, about 7,300 tons of standard coal, and about 18,200 tons of CO2 emissions.
The installation work began on February 11, 2022, which is the peak period of resurgence of the epidemic after the Spring Festival. Moreover, multi -projects such as glass lines, WHR, FGDD, and BIPV are constructed at the same time. The venue is limited and the construction period is tight. How to adjust the construction plan in time, arrange the peak production of personnel, and coordinate the venue and vehicles in and out, which is a great challenge for the project department. At the same time, in response to the difficulties encountered in the work of civil construction, the project department has repeatedly communicated with structural design and civil units. After determining the plan, the three parties arrived at the same time to solve them together.
During the project construction process, Gao Yanfei, General Manager of STEC, and Zang Quanzhong, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the STEC engineering management department, went to the scene many times to coordinate and guide the work. The company's leaders and colleagues of various departments unite and cooperate with each other to ensure the investment of the project as scheduled with a high sense of responsibility and mission.
The smooth power synchronization of the project has accumulated valuable experience for the company in the design, procurement, construction and other aspects of glass line waste heat recovery project, and also contributed a great gift to the 20th CPC National Congress!
